The movie follows the story of Del Spooner as he investigates the murder of Dr. Alfred, a scientist working at US Robotics. With the help of a robopsychologist, Spooner delves into the world of artificial intelligence and tries to determine if a robot has violated the laws of robotics and committed the murder.
